20,000 square foot child care facility offering 15 classrooms, a library, kitchen and secure outdoor play area with an estimated construction cost of $8.3M.
 

The first LEED Platinum-certified building anywhere in the Penn State system, which earned the Merit Award from the Pennsylvania-Delaware Chapter of the American Society of Landscape Architects (ASLA).

State College Area School District Professional Design Team

Sweetland Engineering has worked with The State College Area School District on numerous projects over the past 20 years and currently serves as a member of the Professional Design Team, as the civil engineer, which provides advice on design, bidding and construction administration services for the school district’s yearly maintenance budgeted projects.

Ferguson Elementary School

A combination 15,400 SF of renovations and new construction of 50,300 SF with an estimated construction costs of $16M.  Sweetland Engineering provided design around the building, bus access, teacher parking area, visitor drive & parking area, utility extensions, sewer pump station and stormwater management controls.

Mount Nittany Elementary

Consolidation of the Boalsburg and Panorama Village Elementary Schools into a new 60,500 SF elementary school at the Panorama Village site. The school was designed to house 400 K-5 students and allow for future expansion to accommodate 500 students.

Gray’s Woods Elementary Expansion
